FALLACIES IN SCIENCE

How can an assumption be proved?  Only when you enter the laboratory and perceive with your own senses, that such and such a thing is correct. Your bodily presence at the premise is a pre condition. Instead, if we are convinced of the proofs through the lines of a particular book (like bible) or through the statements of a group people that we call scientists, then it is better to call this proof as belief. The technical jargons of science never permit us to conceive the truth with our senses or to elucidate the proofs through the calculations that we do not know. So when they say that there is HIV, we believe that there is, and if some other negates this idea, then we are confused.  Thus two gods are formed and we are forced to believe one.  I believe that the earth is round, because someone have taught me so. I believe that people landed in moon, because I have seen the photographs of the incident in news papers.  If the photographs were fake, what can my belief be called?(there are still many, who believe that the moon landing was a fake drama. Some scientists have stated that, even now we are not in a position to land in moon.  I don’t know.)

There is incompatibility in our statements, because, so far I was elaborating about the fate of the present day science, and you about the scientific attitude.  The main problem here is that we are losing our scientific attitude even in the matters relating to science.  Why the atheists direct their precious time and energy in criticizing a philosophy which is at the verge of extinction, and why they cannot expose the fallacies prevalent in the present system that we call science. Why they are not bothered about the fact that our present day science is fully manipulated in the hands of vested interests and that the present day industries, and the corresponding consumption patterns of the society in the long run will destroy our flora and fauna.  Why, we,  the  science people,  still believe that some miracles will happen to save the earth, even when our natural resources are drained by our voracious consumption.

At some primordial time, our quack doctors used poisons to treat the body of diseases, they used hot iron rods to immunize the wounds .  but now we have replaced those crude practices with the most modern chemotherapies and radiation therapies. History repeats in other forms.  To kill in the name of religion was unscientific, but to kill in the name of science, we call it scientific.  Our scientific attitude cannot stop wars or mass killings. Let science prevail and not the earth, not its flora and fauna and not the human who traverses its surfaces
